Study On The Professional Women's Two-child Fertility Desire

Under the influence of one-child policy,China's fertility level has been on the decrease for a long time,which results in increasingly serious population aging problem.To alleviate these population problems,Chinese government keeps adjusting its birth policy,starting the full implementation of "two-child policy" in 2016.Because fertility desire is the advanced variable of human fertility behaviors that gather to form the fertility level of a country.Considering that women are undertakes of fertility behavior,and women in our country have consistently high employment rate,thus the study of professional women's two-child fertility desire and its influencing factors have important theoretical and practical significance,under the background of full implementation of tow-child policy in our country.First of all,this article uses the national census,sample survey data to explain the new China since the founding of China's fertility trends and women's education,occupation,economic income and social status of the trajectory.The results show that the change of education level,occupation,economic income and social status of women has a significant impact on the decline of fertility in China.Secondly,by empirical survey,the author finds that professional women have a strong two-child birth desire,and that most women claim that having two children is ideal,without no obvious gender preference.The quality of the mother(including the level of income,education and occupation)has an important impact on their fertility wishes.The average level of income in the middle of the professional women will have higher fertility,while the lower level of income or higher fertility will be relatively low.The lower education level of the lower professional women,the number of ideal children willing to have more fertility,the greater the possibility of childbearing two children;and higher education of professional women willing to lower fertility and relatively stable.Women are engaged in the type of occupation,the status of the occupation and the different expectations of their career development also have a different impact on their fertility.Usually the higher the professional level of women,the lower the fertility of the second child.Therefore,from the empirical analysis of the results can be drawn,professional women,the higher the quality of the mother,the second child will have lower fertility.Thirdly,the author explores the specific factors that affect the fertility wishes of the second-generation women by analyzing the cases of several typical respondents.Finally,this paper summarizes the fertility willingness of the two women who are studied.
