Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity is an exploratory activity which is set outside the primary and secondary school curriculum with the main content of technology.It's not only an important way to improve the young's science quality but also a vital part of promoting social progress and enhancing national competitiveness.However,with many researches focusing on science education for adolescents and science and theology innovation activities at present,few of them have carried on the ponder and analysis of science and theology innovation activities from the perspective of schools.Besides,due to various reasons,quite a few schools and relevant education workers actually pay little attention to this activity,and there's an obvious difference among different schools' conditions of carrying out this kind of activity.Therefore,it is necessary for us to explore the reasons that lead to this difference,hoping to instruct the policy orientation and high school science technology innovation activities.In this research,Guangzhou was taken as an example,by Documentary Analysis,the author investigated the research background,purpose,significance and correlative theories.Then documentary analysis,questionnaire,experimental contrast method and interview were used to fully investigate and analyze the situation of carrying out Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity in different middle schools of Guangzhou.What's more,the difficulties and existing problems existing during the activities in different kinds of schools were explored through documentary analysis,action method and data statistics and therefore raised relevant and feasible suggestions.After the collection and analysis of all the data,conclusions were drawn as follows:1.There's significant difference in the level of carrying out science and technology innovation activities among different middle schools of Guangzhou.According to this,schools in High School Group and Junior High School Group are both classified into different levels within the groups.2.From different dimension,there's distinct difference among the situations of carrying out this activity in different schools from different levels.Schools and relevant education workers need to enhance the focus and improve the key factors in time,especially “Schools' attention onAdolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity” and “teachers' professional skills or abilities and students' creative ability in science and technology”.3.The situation of carrying out Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity is far from ideal,which is expressed in schools' insufficient attention on science and technology innovation activities,their unbalanced knowledge of this activity and the misunderstanding knowledge of relevant policies,teachers' lack of guiding experience and specialized training of this activity and students' insufficient enthusiasm in participation and basic quality of science and technology.4.Driven by interest,it won't make great impact on students' regular tests grades to participate science and technology innovation activities.Instead,it to some degree enhances students' abilities in all aspects and what's more,lays the foundation for their future career plans and development.5.Pedagogical theories are reflected in science and technology innovation activities held by secondary schools,which helps cultivate students' observation ability,thinking ability and innovation ability,and therefore increase their concentration and patience.Based on the conclusions above,it's recommended that skill training of counselors of science and technology be organized by relevant departments in Guangzhou,and therefore establish and improve an assessment system of Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity.Schools,teachers and students need to understand correctly and attach importance to this kind of activities.And according to practical situation,schools with relatively vulnerable situation of carrying out this activity can integrate resources in and out of schools,improve the facilities needed for the activities,set up a fixed guiding mode and carry out this kind of activities.Different from most researches,this study uses an entry point of secondary schools,deeply explores the difference of the conditions of carrying out Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Activity and the factors affecting it.Though many opinions and analysis are still in preliminary exploration stage,the author hopes it will arouse more science and technology workers' reflection and exploration on adolescents science and technology innovation activities.
