Teachers can help students develop the geography experimental teaching thinking,also can help the students improve the learning ability.At the same time the geography experiment can also carry geographical knowledge,in the process of experimental implementation to help students understand the complex,the principle of geographical knowledge.Visible physical experiment is important position in geography teaching.Due to establish and develop at present,the national Ministry of education to promote the students core geographic literacy,the geography experimental teaching can directly or indirectly enable students to improve their practical ability,comprehensive thinking.For the geography of the Geography Division,in the teaching process,pay attention to the improvement of the key ability of students to learn geography,such as how to identify the spatial relative position relationship;observe,analyze,summarize the spatial pattern of the characteristics of the comparative analysis of geographical things Characteristics and differences;observe the spatial dynamics of geographical things and its distribution and so on.And the above related ability can penetrate and influence students through geography experiment teaching.Therefore,this study is the object of this paper,which is based on the geography experiment of "Science Finder: Geography and Geology: Environment and the Universe",which is the mainstream science material of American high school.The experiment in the United States is divided into four types of experiments-mini experiments,geoscience experiments,exploration experiments,skills experiments,a total of 124.In addition,the experimental analysis of the teaching materials,can be used for reference;and Hunan Education Publishing House published textbook content of the experiment more,with a high reference value.This study adopts the methods of literature research,textbook thematic analysis,function analysis and action research method,the paper gives a simple introduction of the teaching materials,analysis of the number and type of experimental teaching materials in the United States,fusion experiment setup and the content of the textbook and fit the experimental setup and American Standard,forms of experiment,the purpose of the experiment with the operational aspects.The paper sums up some outstanding characteristics of geography experimental science textbooks in America,is a United States Geography Experimental geography textbooks of various types,broad and comprehensive;two is the present geographical experiment is diverse,easy to operate;the three is the geography experimental setup is paying attention to the improvement of students' ability and Culture;four is for the geography experimental setting and curriculum standards fit.Of course for teachers of Geography Experimental Textbooks in the United States should according to their own conditions,students,school choice,can also be modified and processing of geography experimental textbooks.Let us find the American textbook < Science > in experimental geography the change of geography teaching resources in our country,and the actual utilization and combining the geography teaching in our country,for our country the geography experimental teaching services.Such as analysis of American textbooks and textbooks between China and America in terms of the content of deep research,how real American geography experiment and China the research on the combination of theoretical and experimental teaching still needs to be explored and studied by many researchers in the field of Geography Education...
