Basketball is the most popular sport among college students,and it is one of the highest participation rates sports events in college sports.Basketball is a skills dominated with field athletics,not only on the higher competitive technical ability level,but also on the higher physical state,and also need the player have the good body posture and movement control ability,then they all for techniques better.The good body control is controlled by the core strength of the muscle.This paper design and work out the training plan according to the literature method for the core strength training,combined with the special characteristics of basketball and the basic situation of the subject group.The experimental subjects were selected from 35 students of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry,which were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 20)and control group(n = 15),which were randomly divided into experimental group and control group(n = 2016).There was no significant difference in height,weight and age between the two groups.In the experimental group,20 students were trained in core strength training for a period of 8 weeks and a total of 3-5 times a week.SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze the variance of test data,the research result are following:1.The comparison between groups,the 8 weeks core strength training has the significant difference(P < 0.05)in the straight points squat,supine straight leg lift,trunk stability push-ups,Rotational stability by the FMS linear functional movement screening;it hasn't the significant difference(P < 0.05)in the deep squat,hurdle and shoulder flexibility.2.The comparison between groups,the 8 weeks core strength training has the significant difference(P < 0.05)in the basketball movement ability of 1 minute timing jump shot and moving underhand lay-up at five points.Conclusions:1.Through the core strength training for 8 weeks,it can improves the body's trunk stability,and still can effectively improve the performance of the athlete's FMS functional screening.2.Through the core strength training for 8 weeks,it can effectively improves the basketball movement skills level.
