Since the world’s competitive sports development and the increasing of thecompetitive sports level. Recently in our country, more and more sportsresearcher try to research on functional training methods deeply. It is differentfrom traditional physical training, this method stress on entirety, stability,correctness on movement locus and normative.This method also focus on work incoordination with muscle group and the ability to control muscles for our body.The movements pattern join in the training rather than a single muscle.Functionalmovement screen(FMS) is the basic of the functional training. FMS required theathletes do seven actions then observe the body in the level of pain,flexibility,stability and basic movements patterns to evaluate the athlete’sphysical condition, this is also the first step of the functional training. This essaybase on the FMS test, researching on some of athletes who training inHEILONGJIANG province and using mathematical statistics and logic analysisthe results. Base on the data, we found out that the sprinter and hurdlerimbalance on the front thigh muscles and posterior muscle.The athletes who takemiddle or long distance project were good at shoulder and hip’s flexibility butthe lower extremity flexibility and stability was poor. While the throwing athletehave batter flexibility of arm, but the flexibility of lower extremity was not goodenough. The long jumpers have very good flexibility of joint, but need legstretching exercise. There is a common problem in all sports projects, which thestrength of core area is not enough. Athlete’s strength of core area training play avital role in physical training, since that the coaches should be sufficientattention on strength of core area training.According to the problem of this test,the essay will made suggestions on training, we hope that will be helpful onathlete’s level of physical training.
