With the continuous development of society,our education system and education concept also constantly changing.Especially since the 21 st century,in order to make China's education and education standards of the world,meet the needs of the contemporary science and technology,production and social development,our country has carried out one of the biggest foundation education course reform.Reform stressed that "change course too pay attention to the tendency of knowledge,let the students to form active learning attitude,change in the process of curriculum implementation too much emphasis on enable students to learn to accept,the status quo of rote learning,let the students actively participate in,to explore,thinking,cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve problems as well as the communication and cooperation ability".Because of today's society need is comprehensive talent,especially the innovation ability is important,so the burden falls to the education of cultivating creative talents,so in recent years,the teachers in order to complete this task,is in constant change and try new teaching methods.The discussion teaching method in recent years,the more get the favour of teachers.Discussion teaching method take the student as the main body,let the student active learning,by students themselves taking the initiative to find information,independent thinking,and through communication with other classmates or teachers eventually learn should master the knowledge.The process fully exercise the students' independent thinking ability,analytical ability,cooperation and communication skills.So the discussion teaching method is particularly important in today's history teaching.This article is divided into six parts,the first part is introduction,mainly includes the question put forward and the research status at home and abroad;The second part is to discuss teaching method were reviewed,the main content includes discussion method concept,characteristics,principles,and form;The third part is the discussion teaching method in middle school history teaching in the application of theoretical basis,from the constructivism,humanism,behaviorism and cognitive socialist four aspects;The fourth part is to discuss teaching method applied in the middle school history teaching;The fifth part is the discussion teaching method in middle school history teaching in the application process,from the discussion teaching method teaching design and discussion teaching method in the history classroom teaching the application of two big aspects;The last part is the application of discussion teaching method in middle school history teaching thinking.
