Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the traditional teaching ideas and methods have not been able to adapt to our present teaching environment,and our teaching ideas and methods need to be changed urgently.For the development of students' personality,the "discussion teaching method" has a great advantage in cultivating students' initiative and developing students' self-learning ability.However,the actual situation is not optimistic.In the first line of high school history teaching site,due to the pressure of examination,the "discussion teaching method" is not widely used in the current high school history teaching field.However,the traditional teaching method has no longer adapted to the current teaching concept.It has become a trend of teaching reform and development to cultivate students' initiative and creativity,and to face the reality of students' life and to face the world.Therefore,in the new era,establishing a student centered teaching concept and changing teaching mode is a crucial step in teaching reform.This paper mainly discusses the current application of "discussion teaching method" in senior high school history teaching,and the author also puts forward his own opinion.In this paper,after teaching practice in a key middle school in Banan District,Chongqing,according to the present situation of "discussion teaching method" in the actual teaching process,and combining the "341 ecological education model" put forward by the Middle School of the author,and with specific teaching cases,the author expounds the use of "discussion teaching method" in the history teaching of high school.Some achievements and problems existed.In view of the existing problems in the actual teaching process,the author also puts forward his own ideas and opinions.Of course,in the high school history classroom how to use the "discussion teaching method" is appropriate,which is worth the work that the front-line teachers and educational researchers need to work hard to accomplish in the future teaching work.Besides the introduction and epilogue,this article is divided into three parts.The first part is the summary of the discussion teaching method.It includes the connotation,main types,principles and importance of the discussion teaching method.The second part mainly discusses the application of "discussion teaching method" in high school history teaching.This paper mainly discusses the achievements and shortcomings of the current discussion teaching method in high school history teaching.The third part.This paper deals with the application strategy of "discussion teaching" in high school history teaching.And the author has designed a case analysis.Finally,a brief summary of the above part is made.
