Under the background of new curriculum reform,high school Ideological and Political textbooks made a great of adjustments.One of a significant change is in textbooks added many auxiliaries.Using Life and Philosophy as an example,the structures of textbooks have two parts,the body and auxiliary.The body is the chief part of learning content and the auxiliary text used for assisting teaching.From the function of the auxiliary text,auxiliary word can explain the text and extend the background materials.Auxiliary text also involves lots of knowledge of all subjects.It combines Ideological and Political discipline with other disciplines,using the knowledge of all subjects interpenetrating.The setting of auxiliary,for teachers,it is favorable to exploit the textbook resources,enrich the teaching contents,adjust the class atmosphere and improve the teaching efficiency.For students,it can help students to motivate learning interest in philosophy,widen theirs field of vision,foster theirs autonomic learning ability and critical thinking ability,promote their emotional attitude and values.In this article,the main ways of research are literature research and case analysis.It examines the use of auxiliary text in Life and Philosophy from three aspects.First,based on reading and collating lot auxiliary achievement materials,it defines the auxiliary texts,connotation,content and significance by literature research.Then on this basis,building upon a lot research on teaching design examples,it discusses the application of Life and Philosophy’s auxiliary text in concrete teaching from three respects: teachers’ course preparation,prelection and homework assignment.Finally,combine with internship experience,it analyzes the problems of using auxiliary text in high school philosophy course teaching at this stage.The problems mainly show: teachers don’t take into great consideration of auxiliary text’s application in teaching,teachers are not scientific in using auxiliary text in teaching,students are generally lack the active consciousness auxiliary text.This paper analyzes above questions and comes up with corresponding strategies:help teachers change traditional educational idea,pay more attention on auxiliary resources,enhance the research on the use of auxiliary,and help students change the learning ways.This paper mainly uses Life and Philosophy as an example,and presents specific suggestions in auxiliary text’s application in teaching.It is hoping to provide certain reference in senior politics teachers’ classroom teaching and auxiliary resources exploitation.
