| As the reforms going on in different nations across the world,more and more governments and teachers come to realize the important role played by teachers in the process of education reforms,and understand that success of education reforms is decided by teachers.Nowadays,the compulsory education in China has already entered the new stage of qualitative improvement from quantitative expansion.In this background,the important aim of this stage is deepening reform of compulsory education and improving the quality of teaching in compulsory education.Teachers,as main force of improving the teaching quality,are expected by governments to improve their education ideas,professional ability and ethics,and other abilities.Therefore,it is important and meaningful to discuss current conditions of teachers serving compulsory education from both urban and rural areas,and generally understand teachers’ ability to be qualified for their work.The research,devotes itself to investigating current situation of teachers’ qualification,with teachers serving compulsory education from urban and rural areas as research objects.Through the investigation and data analysis,current situation of teachers’ qualification in urban and rural areas is described and analyzed through comparison.There is also prediction of future research tendency based on research conclusion.The detailed research content is as follow: introduction,reason of the research,literature review,research method and research significance.First chapter is about research design and process.This chapter introduces the research objects and research tool,also delivers detailed introduction to samples of investigation,method of data processing and analysis,and other aspects.Second chapter is about investigation result and its analysis.Through the use of SPSS21.0,this chapter makes a description and analysis of current situation of qualification of teachers serving compulsory education from urban and rural areas.There is also an comparative analysis of teachers’ qualification from aspects including gender,age,working years,professional title,education background and other aspects.The third chapter is about discussion and conclusion.Data analysis shows that the general situation of teachers’ qualification in china is relatively good,which illustrates that most teachers are qualified;teachers of different age have differences in condition of qualifications;female teachers perform better than male teachers in their qualification;the situation of qualification of teachers of 21-30 years’ standing is higher than that of teachers of 11-20 years’ standing,and situation of qualification of teachers of 11-20 years’ standing is poorest among all groups;situation of teachers’ qualification varies along with different professional titles;teachers with graduate degree enjoy best qualification conditions,teachers with secondary normal school diploma come next,and teachers with college diploma perform worse than teachers with secondary normal school diploma;level of qualification of substitute teachers is better than that of specially contracted teachers;teachers from urban areas enjoy better qualification level than teachers from rural areas;and teachers from East and Middle China enjoy better qualification conditions than teachers from West China. |
