The art of drama has a long history and a wide range.It is a kind of literary genre that combines music,dance,performance and so on.Drama works at all times and in all countries have surging and exciting plots and different styles characters.All these works are exciting and fascinating.Therefore,drama teaching plays an important role not only in the training of students' language ability,but also in the cultivation of Chinese quality.However,due to factors like inadequate investigation of the college entrance examination,insufficient attention of teachers,,and deficiency interest of students,the current situation of high school drama teaching is not optimistic.With the gradual deepening of the new curriculum reform,the reform of drama teaching must be inevitable.Aiming at the traditional teaching method,this paper puts forward the idea that the performance teaching can be applied to the drama teaching in senior high school,and probes into it from two aspects of theory and practice.Performance teaching is a teaching method for students to further understands the characters and conflicts in the drama works on the basis of the text reading and teacher's explanation.Based on the drama teaching,it takes the content of the textbook as the script,and presents in the stage performance.The form turns to be vivid and easy to stimulate students' interest in learning drama.It involves a wide range of art forms.Students can also choose the activity and create independently according to their own expertise and interests.This teaching method can not only mobilize the enthusiasm of the students,but increase the subject consciousness of students.It can effectively help students grasp the knowledge of drama,and improve the ability of literature and aesthetic appreciation,inspire the interest of students in language learning.This thesis consists of the following parts:In the first part,the author introduces the performance teaching from the experience and problems of traditional drama teaching,expounds the concept,characteristics and value of performing teaching.The second part,based on the analysis from the curriculum to teaching materials,the writer will seek the drama performing teaching basis,the Chinese drama works in high school will be classified as well.This part will elaborate "what to teach".Except that,In addition,from the conditions for the implementation of performance teaching will also be demonstrated with the condition of teachers,students and teaching.The third part describes the specific steps of performance teaching,the performance of the teaching model can be divided into three steps: reading and interpretation-analysis and performance-the promotion and transformation,specifically on the performance of teaching".The fourth part,combining with teaching cases,illustrates how to use the performance teaching.There will fragment the case of teaching and special cases,are illustrated as the typical teaching cases,the writer will analyze and reconsider the practice of performance teaching.According to the above theoretical analysis and practical exploration,also other aspects of teaching reform,this paper will be a useful attempt to performance teaching in high school Chinese drama works.
