This study aims to use assistive technology selecting the SETT mode of adaptation and the relevant theories and methods to explore the application of mathematical learning disabilities children software processes and methods of choosing adaptation.There are confronted with three problems in this study.Firstly,SETT mode is suitable for China’s national conditions,to in what aspects need to be modified.Secondly,applicable to the general pattern of assistive technology adapter SETT whether is suitable for the choice of mathematics learning software adaptation,and what are the problems need to pay attention to;Thirdly,the formation of mathematical learning disabilities children the application based on the pattern of SETT software processes and methods of choosing adaptation.In order to solve these problems,this study conducted the following work:(1)In the reference SETT mode and the relevant theory and methods it is based on the formation of China’s national conditions suitable for the general assistive technology selection process and methods of adaptation;(2)On the basis of step(1),which combined with the learning software to select the adaptation method to form the initial program of the process and method of selecting the adaptation application of the children with math learning disabilities iPad application software;(3)it ralated to select case iPad application software adaptation and teach intervention program design;(4)Using a single test method explores the effect of intervention to examine the formation of the software selection process whether should be appropriate;(5)In the case of case effective intervention,it notarized selection process and method for the formation of the mathematical learning disabilities children iPad application software.Research conclusion: SETT pattern of each step in the four steps are appropriate,but some of the steps involve methods need to be improved.step 1(consider whether students need assistive technology can provide according to the mode of tool form implementation;Step 2(students,environment,task information collection),the need to increase the assistive technology of the elements of information collection,because China could not assistive technology experts in adaptation,providing relevant assistive technical information.Given China’s other teachers lack of professional training,assistive technologies in information collection of students,students need to use WATI information collection table,because it is designed to collect the student information related to the assistive technology use tools.Student information collection for SETT do tip tool providing only a few questions,is not convenient to operate;Step 3(assistive technology adapter),need to use a special tool of learning software adaptation,rather than SETT mode for general assistive technology adapter table;Step 4(assistive technology plan execution and effect test),can use the hints given SETT mode,also can use some of the education in respect of education intervention method,so that the effect of detection.
