Background:Executive function as a cognitive function,is the important cognitive process of individuals coordinate and control various basic cognitive activities when completing complicated tasks.It is the core of individual emotion and cognition.Once the executive dysfunctions,it will induce aggression,learning disability,depression and other kinds of problems.The existing students' performing research have showed that the prevalence rate of caused autism in the crowd of college students because of executive dysfunction is as high as 8.3%,the prevalence rate of mild schizophrenia is 6.7%and the prevalence rate of attention deficit is 4.3%.This phenomenon has attracted the experts' attention in pedagogy,psychology and neuroscience.To effectively explore the improvement and enhancement of the students executive function has become the mainstream of many disciplines.In recent years,increasing evidences have proved that sports has a positive impact on the development of executive function for the college students while can be used as an effective way.College physical education curriculum is the core part of improving students' physical quality and promoting the teaching of the overall development of students;while is the important way to enhance the students' physical and mental health as the main goal and to implement quality education and cultivate talents size.Meanwhile it is also using sports as the main means of teaching courses.Therefore,the university sports curriculum should bear the responsibility to promote college students' development of executive function.However,the study on relationships between the college sports curriculum and the students' executive function development has not yet caused concern.Therefore,to inquiry the relationship between the teaching of college PE curriculum and implementation function development is an important value of enhancing students' physical and mental health and enriching the implementation of the theory of the relationship between sports and execution the function and reforming of college physical education theory and practice.Research purposes:Based on the characteristics of physical and mental development of college students,to explore the effect of the designed 8 weeks' basketball teaching on college students'cognitive function through goal setting in College PE curriculum in Colleges and universities reveals the development of the students' executive function.Research methods:To overall pull out two class of freshman in Yangzhou University which total of 84 students,and to experimental group them by randomly lottery method.According to the class of picking out students,dividing the students into experimental group(44 students)and control group(40 students).Compare with the controlling groups' behaviors by giving them routine basketball teaching while the experimental group for 8 weeks of basketball goal the setting of teaching.By using the flanker task,more-odd shifting task,2-back task to investigate the 8 weeks' experimental students performing function of suppression,refreshment and changing conversion of three sub functions before and after.Research Results:(1)compared with the controlling group,the college freshmen of experimental group's overall executive function has been improved,the difference has a statistically significance(f(1,59)=8.62,P<0.01);(2)the impacts of goal setting in basketball teaching on university students' performing function of suppression,refresh and influence conversion:compared with the conventional teaching group,the inhibition function of experimental group using goal setting in basketball teaching has improved(f(1,59)=4.57,P<0.05),the difference has statistically significance;the refresh function of experimental group using goal setting in basketball teaching has improved(f(1.59)=8.96,P<0.05),the difference has statistically significance;the conversion function of experimental group using goal setting in basketball teaching has improved(f(1,59)=0.65,P>0.05),but the difference has not statistically significance.Research conclusion:It has a significant positive influence on the development of College freshmen's executive function while using goal setting ways in basketball teaching,but there are differences existed in the basketball teaching effect:using goal setting in the basketball teaching has a significant improvement on the inhibition function and refresh function while it has no outstanding influence on the conversion function.
