Today,China's present sports industry is in the stage of development,although compared with the developed countries in the world,our sports industry still have a considerable gap,but China also have a huge development space as a powerful sports country.People have the fitness consciousness at the beginning to spend money to buy health now,great changes seen in concept,this change is reflected in: people's consumption for sports increased year by year,consumption patterns are diversified,investment for health is also increasing and so on.Chengdu has abundant water resources,people's way of life is quite casual,indoor polls are star chesses rob in Chengdu.The business swimming club is a branch of swimming project,the management situation is worthy of in-depth study,so the author made a investigation according to the management of Chengdu City Commercial Swimming Club and found that the commercial swimming club exists restricting factors in the development,and puts forward some strategies.This article visit and investigate the managers,the lifeguard coach,consumers of the 22 swimming clubs in Chengdu through the methods of literature,interviews,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,the results of the study show that:(1)The commercial Swimming Clubs' geographical distribution are not uniform in Chengdu,mostly concentrated in trading areas and residential quarters(2)68.2% of swimming pools in Chengdu are nonstandard shaped pools,and can hold 100-300 people,between the 72.7% of swimming clubs' rescue equipment is not perfect;(3)The male and female ratio of consumers is balance,and most od them are working class;(4)Consumers' awareness of swimming is low,and lack the related concepts;(5)Consumer motivation is exercise minaly,consumers are satisfied with the club;(6)The coach lifeguard tends to younger,certificate is good and the teaching methods are single;(7)The Commercial Swimming Clubs are in the profitable state mostly in Chengdu;(8)The managements' degree is generally high,and all have professional theoretical knowledge training;(9)The nature of the business is joint-stock mainly,minority is self-employed,mainly to domestic capital,the registered of capital is less;(10)The management idea is obsolete,the marketing channel is narrow,and lack of advanced management system;(11)Lack of support of the relevant departments.According to the analysis of the restricting factors of the development of Chengdu commercial swimming club,the following strategies are put forward:(1)To strengthen the club facilities and improve space utilization efficiency;(2)To strengthen the construction and training of coaches;(3)To improve the management system;(4)To strengthen internal staff management,improve their work enthusiasm;(5)To strengthen the risk management of club security;(6)To optimize the network marketing and expand revenue channels.
