With the constantly development of the information technology,people's personal knowledge management(PKM)mode has been changed under the influence of the continuously progress of the technology instruments.While there are many researches focused on the traditional and network PKM and the research achievements is quiet flourish,due to the high speed and limited time of the mobile internet development,there are few concerned researches on the mobile PKM.Because of the far-reaching influence of the mobile internet and the mobile learning,people get used to many new styles of learning,such as "fragmentation learning" and"learning anytime and anywhere".So it has not only significant theoretical meaning,but abundant practical value to do some researches on the mobile PKM.Firstly,this paper reviewed all the literature on the PKM and the mobile PKM.And then,based on the new constructivism and connectionism,this research confirmed two main dimensions of the questionnaire:awareness and application,to inquire the PKM status of the university students.Finally,by means of questionnaire survey,the application status of the university students was elaborated quantitatively.Firstly the questionnaire conducted a series of inquiries on the mobile PKM from certain aspects,that is,the application condition,cognition degree,application intention,personal knowledge demand,mobile information security and the familiarity of the mobile PKM tools.Further more,this survey looked deep into the the college student current situation on using mobile devices to knowledge acquisition,knowledge storage,knowledge communication and knowledge utilization.A total number of 400 questionnaires were distributed and eventually 348 valid questionnaires were recovery.After the data analysis by SPSS 21.0,all the research hypothesis were verified.According to the investigation:within the mobile internet environment,university students are already equipped with sufficient resources to carry out the mobile PKM and the majority of college students are willing to put it into use.But the PKM application level within the university students is not ideal and large numbers of university students are unfamiliar to the mobile PKM tools.Therefore,the analysis shows that:the influence of the mobile internet to the university students is profound;there is an common phenomenon,that is "know but not use",within the university students' personal knowledge management;a new trend of weakening technology barrier exists in the mobile PKM;different experience makes different application level in the university students' personal knowledge management.Based on the investigation and combined with the concerned theory,this paper proposed several suggestions to facilitate the application of the mobile PKM in college students.At the end of this paper,we summarized the inadequacy of this paper,and some prospects are made for future study.
