Into the 21st century, the competition between countries is more and more fierce,but in the end, talent is the core of winning. Cultivating high-quality talents have broad consensus around the world, the scientific education method is necessary. To explore the related theory and practice of teaching is derived from abroad, because it helps to foster a scientific spirit, creative spirit and practical ability of society needs high quality talents,so domestic was introduced into classroom teaching, and got a lot of attention.In this paper, the integrated use of literature research, case analysis, expert consultation and other research methods, in this paper selected topic background and the related achievements at home and abroad, on the basis of analyzing the connotation and characteristics of inquiry teaching, the "design" the connotation, theoretical basis and significance, and then combines theory and practice to study the "design" the basic principles and strategies, and reflections on "design" practical results. The paper mainly divides into three parts:The first part: the analysis of the connotation and characteristics of "inquiry teaching", and emphatically researches the connotation of "design" in the process of teaching, theoretical basis and significance are analyzed, and think the problem is designed teachers in the teaching process, teaching content can be converted to a need to explore the problem, by creating to guide students to discover, explore and solve the problem, the pedagogy theory, psychology theory and the epistemology as the rationale,to stimulate students interest in learning,cultivate students' thinking ability and so on has the remarkable effect.The second part: "the opium war" a class of specific teaching practice, points out that "design" in high school history exploring teaching should follow the scientific,pertinence, feasibility, interest in sex, the basic principles of openness, gradation, and proposed to choose reasonable setting the breakthrough point of the problem, and in its ability to create students interested in within the scope of the problem situation, skillfully present problems, and in this paper, the problems such as the basic strategy.The third part: analyzes the "design" in high school history exploring teaching practice achievements, such as stimulated students' classroom learning interest and motivation, improve the students' thinking ability, has played a leading role of teachers in classroom teaching and help teachers well control the teaching process, etc.; Also pointed out that the use of "design" problem teaching need to be aware of the main problems,such as to create a democracy and relaxed classroom atmosphere, encourage students to ask questions, etc.
