The continuous development of contemporary economy and society pushes the education forward, and nowadays an education reform,whose keynote is 'core literacy ',is sweeping around the world. China also keeps the pace of this trend and pulls the curtain of a new round curriculum reform. After a widely discussion by geography education scholars and geography researchers, the basic framework of Geography discipline core literacy has roughly determined. So it's the right time for geography education professionals to think about how to perfect the system of its connotation and also how to carry out the geography subject core literacy training. At the same time, the cultivation of values also is a weakness of geography education in China.Therefore,this study does a series of researches, whose focus is to solve the problem on how to develop the high school students' concepts on harmonious human-earth relationship, by some main research means includes, documentary study, the theoretical research and questionnaire investigation.The research is divided into four sub goals and four stages.(1) the first stage.interpret the concrete connotation of harmonious human-earth relationship . The author reviewed the literature both at home and abroad, tried to analyze and interpret the concrete connotation of harmonious human-earth relationship, and finally figured out what on earth the concept is that the high school students have to develop.(2) the second stage.arrange the teaching idea of ' the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship ' . Based on the previous research results, this paper tries to analyze the key issue on how to develop the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship, and provides the theoretical basis for the questionnaire compiled.(3) the third stage. survey the present situation of high school students' harmonious human-earth relationship education. This paper took Wuhan as sample, and surveyed high school geography teachers by questionnaire and intended to understand the high school students in Wuhan city on the present situation of the cultivation of the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship. This is for providing factual basis for the following strategy research.(4) the fourth stage.improve the training process on students' concept of harmonious human-earth relationship. Based on the conclusion of the questionnaire survey, this paper tried to find out the gap between theory and reality, and also what the high school geography teachers tried to conveyed on the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship in Wuhan and the reason for doing so. Also, the thesis put forward some teaching suggestions on the issue.Through four stages of research, this paper explained the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship from three dimensions: components, degree and performance.Based on the relevant psychology theory, the thesis put forward the teaching ideas of the concept of person to coordinate. Finally on the basis of the present situation investigation,the thesis puts forward the improvement suggestions to cultivate the concept of harmonious human-earth relationship.
