Independent College is an important part of local undergraduate colleges and universities,which is an exploration and innovation of C hinese higher education running mechanism and model under the new situation.Building a reasonable structure,excellent quality and stable collaborative teaching staff is the assurance of Independent College's survival and sustainable development.The strong mobility and poor stability of teachers in Independent Colleges will bring a large loss of human capital,increase the running cost and led to a slow speed in independent college's education quality and research level.Therefore,In order to improve their own comprehensive competitiveness and realize sustainable development,the Independent Colleges have to make its teaching staff stable and raise the level of teacher human resource management to reduce the loss of teachers.Based on the concept of independent college,independent college teachers,teachers losing,this study conducted in-depth interviews with 5 independent college's personnel directors,and issued questionnaires to college teachers.Through empirical research,the main reasons of independent college teachers losing are seeking a higher career development platform;striving for better pay;pursuiting the rationality of professional title evaluation;requesting indiscriminate treatment;safeguard measures of relocation;maintain personal family stability and so on.Aiming at the causes of teachers losing in Independent Colleges,combining with the existing literature research and the current policy of the school system and learning from the experience of the American Liberal Arts College teachers' management,this paper puts forward some effective strategies from the main body of Independent College,to enhance the full-time teachers' organizational commitment and job satisfaction,enable schools to effectively retain high-quality teachers,and reduce the high cost caused by teachers losing.
