The Application Of Film And Television Teaching In Primary School English Teaching

With the rapid social and economic development,in the world is accelerating the pace,English has become Chinese students must master second languages,with the rapid development of science and technology,we have entered the era of multimedia,the teaching of English film and television has gradually become the people living in a cultural feast.At the same time,English teaching plays a very important role.Language comes from culture and is closely related to culture.As early as in the 20th century,American linguists pointed out that "language has an environment,it can not exist without culture,can not break away from the tradition and faith inherited by society".The interdependent and interactive relationship between language and culture is particularly evident when people communicate with people of different cultural backgrounds.This paper from the psychology,pedagogy,linguistics three theory angles respectively with motivation theory,memory theory,constructivist learning theory,learning theory,all the senses of audio-visual teaching theory and the two language acquisition theory of Krashen's input hypothesis theory,combined with the current practice of a primary school in Yinchuan City,expounds the primary school English the teaching must be taken into account and tools of the humanities,to enhance students'cross-cultural awareness,pay attention to all-round development of students' personality.On this basis,this paper discusses the unique advantages of English film and television teaching,as well as the need to pay attention to the problems and principles in the implementation process.The film and television works both in content and form,as an example of the art of language,it is more attractive to students,can stimulate students' learning interest and initiative humanities connotation and the cultural factors it rich,but also to cultivate students' personality development and cross cultural awareness provides favorable guarantee,and emphasizes the importance of the necessity and importance of English video teaching.
