Reading is the key to the development and progress of the society.By reading,human being can gain useful information to solve the problems.Reading is the means of enhancing our own qualities.With the development of the technology,society has become more and more digitized.As a result,mathematics reading became more and more important in our daily life.With the help of the questionnaire and interview,the author found that students' mathematics reading attitude is not optimistic,their interests in mathematics reading are low.Therefore,students need to develop better reading habits with the guidance of the teachers,which not only can develop students' reading ability,but also can cultivate the their learning mathematics interests.It is crucial to develop students' mathematics reading habits in the period of middle school,which is the best stage for students to master the learning methods.In this stage,teachers should give specific guidance to students in order to promote the development of students' reading ability.Through looking up relevant materials and previous studies,the author divides this thesis into the following seven chapter:The chapter one is introduction,which described the research background,research purpose and significance.And the main problems and research methods are also presented in this part.The chapter two is literature review and related theoretical bases.The thesis firstly introduces the relevant studies on mathematics reading at home and abroad.The thesis discusses the theoretical basis of mathematics reading: meta-cognitive theory,constructivism theory and meaningful learning theory.The chapter three is related concepts.By literature review,the author concludes the definition of mathematics reading and other related concepts,and analyzes the particularity of mathematics reading.Besides,the classification mathematics reading is also included in this part.The chapter forth is the investigation and analysis of mathematics reading of middle school students.Firstly,through questionnaire,the author analyzes the current situation of junior high school students' mathematics reading ability.Then through interview,it can directly know the views of students on mathematics reading.Finally,the author summarizes the main factors that affect the students' reading ability in mathematics.The fifth chapter introduced the concrete implementation methods of cultivating mathematics reading ability of middle school students.According to the analysis of result of questionnaire and interview,the author will put forward reasonable and targeted training strategies.The chapter six illustrates the application of mathematics reading strategy training to the actual teaching class.By analysis of the achievements of experimental class and the control class,the effectiveness of the strategy on students' mathematics learning will be tested.The chapter seven is the conclusion and reflection,such as the main findings,implication limitations,and suggestions of the study.
