The quality of higher education has always been a hot topic of concern for China and the whole world,the quality of higher education is the lifeline of university,so continuously promoting the improvement of the quality of higher education has become the enduring theme.In order to meet the needs of community interest group on higher education increasingly diversification and the demands of the quality of higher education,the university needs to explore how the various resources provided for students are used by students and whether they really promote students' study and development.This study is based on the "Chinese College Students Study and Development Tracking Research Questionnaire 2015" survey tool,focusing on the study and development of college students,selecting the five indicators of comprehensive analysis,taking the L undergraduate students as objects to conduct research and study,from the comprehensive analysis of the five indicators which involves level of academic challenge,active and collaborative learning,student-faculty interaction,enriched educational experiences,eupportive campus environment,compare the performance of L University and "985" colleges and universities' situation,and show the internal contrast situation of L University,then discuss the differences between the undergraduates of L University in terms of gender,grade,and student cadre experience.Through a number of comparative analysis,the conclusions are as follow:(1)Through the internal analysis of undergraduates' study and development in L University,it is found that the comprehensive analysis of the five indicators are supportive campus environment,active and collaborative learning,level of academic challenge,enriched educational experiences,student-faculty interaction,in accordance with the high and low score.On the student-faculty interaction,the academic interaction more than the interaction on the career plans and values,students are more willing to communicate with the teacher between teachers and counselors;on the enriched educational experiences,students can contact with many people with different backgrounds and communicate with them;on the level of academic challenge,the level of reading is higher than the writing level;on active and collaborative learning,students in cooperative learning performance is better than the performance on active learning;on the eupportive campus environment,the relationship between the students and the administrators isthe worst,the academic help provided by the L University is better than the physical and mental health support and services.(2)Through the comparison between the L University and the "985" colleges and universities' situation,it is found that the scores of undergraduates of L University in the comprehensive analysis of the five indicators are significantly lower than those of the "985" colleges and universities,the overall study and development level of the undergraduates is relatively lower,but the undergraduates of L University have positive performance on each indicator,they have better performance on reading about required textbooks or reference books,work with teachers outside the curriculum frequently,participate in learning communities and overseas learning with high motivation,willing to contact with the people from different national or different race and different region,communicate with people of different religious beliefs more frequently,the relationships between students and teachers,staff,administrators are very good.(3)Through the analysis of the differences between undergraduates of L University on study and development,it is found that the performance of female students on the level of academic challenge,enriched educational experiences,eupportive campus environment is better than that of male students,active and collaborative learning and student-faculty interaction between male students and female students are in the same level;As the grade increases,level of academic challenge,active and collaborative learning,student-faculty interaction and enriched educational experiences are on the rise,while teupportive campus environment is basically declining,different grade of undergraduates of L University have different performance on comprehensive analysis of the five indicators;undergraduates with student cadre experience have better performance on comprehensive analysis of the five indicators than other students.Based on above conclusion,in order to improve the education and teaching work of L University,improve the quality of undergraduate education,promote the study and development of undergraduates,pueforward the following suggestions:build the interactive platform to enhance the degree of interaction between students and teachers;enrich the educational experience to promote the comprehensive development of students;set reasonable academic difficulty to optimize the allocation of time for students;tapping the potential of students and teachers to improve the level of active and cooperative learning;create a good support environment to meet the development needs of students;focus on the differences between different student groups to teach in accordance with their "aptitude".
