Since 1983,the higher education has to obtained secondary disciplines,with the goal of establishing an independent discipline.For this purpose,scholars explored hard focus on the research object,research methods and the construction of theoretical system and other issues of higher education.Although there has been a great success,to solved a series of theoretical problems and practical problems which constraints of higher education become an independent discipline,but the reality can't be avoid is that the higher education is still in the "phantom" embarrassment.The emergence of this situation,both the reasons include immature and imperfect of the theoretical system of the discipline,and there are more complicated factors,this paper attempts to explore some of the subjects from the perspective of discipline culture.First of all,what is the connotation of discipline culture of higher education? Discipline culture of higher education is the discipline community as the main body,discipline knowledge as the material,by the way of discipline paradigm,which are formed in the process of discipline construction in the standard of language sign,value standard,way of thinking and behavior norm.The characteristics of discipline culture of higher education is the external performance connotation,the open and professional characteristics of the discipline community;the unique and exclusive characteristics of discipline knowledge;the discipline paradigm shows the characteristics of multi discipline and development.Secondly,what is the function and affect of discipline culture of higher education in the construction of discipline?Educational function is the basic function of discipline culture of higher education;the function of knowledge production is the core function of discipline culture of higher education;cohesion function is an important function of discipline culture of higher education.The function of discipline culture of higher education represents the internal effect of discipline culture on the construction of discipline,and the affect of discipline culture is the externalization of the internal effect,the first one of its roles is to highlight the uniqueness of the discipline culture of higher education;second is contribute to the discipline community of higher education development;third is conducive to the improvement of the discipline knowledge system of higher education.Finally,how to construct the discipline culture of higher education? On the content construction of discipline culture of higher education: the first is to change the mode of knowledge production and to promote interdisciplinary research;the second is to cultivate the rational action of discipline community,and promote the growth of disciplinary community;the third is to transform the paradigm of discipline to promote the standardization of discipline construction.The construction strategy of the discipline culture of higher education is divided into external and internal strategies.The external strategy refers to the improvement of the discipline system culture and the discipline organization culture.The internal construction strategy refers to the constructing the discourse system of higher education,shaping the value of higher education,and strengthening the belief in independent discipline of higher education.
