A Research On The Problems And Countermeasures In The Teaching Of The Modern And Contemporary History Of Chinese And Foreign Relations In High School

In the teaching of the modern and contemporary history of Chinese and foreign relations in high school, through my own listening to the teacher in class, teaching practice, classroom observation and interviews with teachers, I find there are problems of the following three aspects.From the aspect of the history curriculum standard, First, the curriculum content standards and the basic idea of the curriculum standard is not very fit, modern Chinese and foreign relations related to class teaching that can achieve certain ideas and emotional attitude values is not reflected in the content standard; Second, some of the curriculum content of modern Chinese and foreign relations related to standard requirement is too thick or careful, especially the new teachers for some content choice is a bit at a loss; Third, although the new standard to guide the political history,economic history and intellectual history of textbooks in modern Chinese and foreign history is not consistent in revolutionary history, modern history and civilization history.This can lead teachers and students to the confusing evaluation of the west and China,and is not conducive to the comprehensive and objective understanding of modern Chinese and foreign relations.From the aspects of teaching materials, there are several problems of teaching materials due to the limitation of space, First, the vision of guiding the editor to write teaching material of modern Chinese and foreign history part is relatively narrow, the ignoring or deliberately avoided basic principles of the international communication event or some important stages of modern Chinese diplomatic history facts make the students can't evaluate the lofty position of historical events from some unique, they also can't understand the beauty of historical development, which will affect thestudents understanding of the basic rules of international communication and affect their judgment of modern Chinese and foreign exchanges, or even affect the understanding of the modern Chinese and foreign relations;Second, the teaching material of modern Chinese and foreign history written by politics since the founding of new China and the influence of ideology will be out of a "socialist" or "of the communist party of China" position of some historical figures or events for the one-sided or beneath the objective description, so that the students can't restore historical truth;Third, teaching material evaluate certain historical characters and events in modern times at the mercy of long historical inertia in formulation simplicity and frigid, even some content is not comprehensive, it is bad for the student to the understanding of the historic character,and is also unfavorable to the development of students' history thinking and critical consciousness.From the aspect of teachers, there are also the following problems in the teaching of modern Chinese and foreign relations : first, some teachers' historiography literacy practice is limited, they do not pay attention to absorbing the story of the latest academic achievements, and the textbook as the main or all of the basis of history class,according to their own understanding of the teaching material(or peer) for the integration of historical facts, they can't realize the knowledge is fully connected, they also cannot restore the original logic of historical development, which makes the student can only remember the facts rigidly, but cannot fully understand the history;Second, in the teaching of Chinese and foreign relations, due to personal preferences or position of the country, it is difficult for them to adhere to the principle objectively and fairly, and they even evaluate many events in modern Chinese and foreign relations for one-sided,or adapt double standard;Third, the teachers' practice of double standards can mislead the student to have the tendency of the consequences ideologically, or even one-sided thought tendency, it also increases the difficulty to realize students' rational patriotism.All the above problems not only involves the historical facts which are true in the teaching of history comprehensively, whether emotional attitude is objective or fair, and many other issues, but also affects the student's understanding of relations between China and foreign countries and the judgment.Considering the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese and foreign relations, based on the investigation and analysis, myresearch put forward feasible Suggestions or strategies.As the author is only a high school history teacher,I can only grasp the problems that exist in the curriculum and teaching material inadequately, I can only put forward some suggestions from the perspective of teachers.So for the above three aspects of Suggestions and countermeasures I can only do my research from the level of high school history teaching,and analyze from the perspective of high school history teachers, and work out feasible strategies, so as to promote the teaching of this field.Aiming at the existing problem of curriculum,teachers are requested to not only study teaching standard, but also suspect curriculum, curriculum can be celebrated as a classic, but can not blindly believe in the doctrine;Aiming at the existing problem of teaching material, the teacher must apply modern education technology actively, take the initiative to improve history subject accomplishment and let students fully autonomous expression of democratic classroom and so on to make up the defects of the teaching material;To counter the problem of the teachers, teachers should overcome their own subjective bias, adhere to the fair and objective, and let history show true colors and observe the student's emotion tendency, correct students' radical ideas timely and make history teaching under the guidance of a rational way.
