| In recent years,the vocational education in China has rapidly developed and delivered significant results.For example,the vocational institutions have further enhanced their capability to run the daily operations.Nevertheless,there are still several issues that may adversely affect its further development,which include the lack of social recognition towards the vocational education,obsolete educational concept,poor institutional systems,and lack of social and industrial involvement,the mismatch of talent supply and industrial demand,and relatively lower degree of internationalization.In order to adapt to the ongoing transformation of China economic structure,several parties including the government agencies,institutions,enterprises and industry associations are actively exploring the ways to reform vocational education.In particular,the vocational education system in Fujian is still in exploratory phase.Hence,it is especially important to promote the development of the vocational education such that it adapts to the transformation of economic structure.This article analyses the status of Fujian Modern Forestry Vocational Education Group,which can represent the overall situation of the vocational education in Fujian province.It aims to understand the reasons leading to the limited corporation between the institution and the industry,and the poor working mechanism among different sub entities within the institution group.It puts forward a proposal of using multi-central governance as the concept to promote the development of Vocational Education Group.More specifically,it includes the following two aspects: Firstly,to clearly define the roles and responsibilities for the sub entities within the group;Secondly,to promote the organization structure construction of the group,promote the construction of group cross appointment system,promote the construction of group resource sharing mechanism,promote the combination of industry and education and the construction of management,and promote the construction of interests distribution system of the group. |
