Reading aid system,which belongs to Chinese textbook,is a type of learning strategy in essence.It is a good method to help students deal with reading and comprehending problems of the text,and promote their autonomous learning ability.A good Reading aid system should exist in a good textbook,which can transform students' awareness focused on the material to the acquisition of the textbook.This thesis regards the Reading aid system of The People's Education Press and Grimm Press in Grade Seven as a researching subject.The author makes a comparison between those two types of books with regard to the knowledge links,knowledge annotations,knowledge illustrations,brief introductions of the authors and so on,which can be accomplished by Literature Review,Comparative Method,and Case Analyzing Method,also it is expressed by various sections of contents,different forms and functions of texts.Major findings of this research,for the common points,those two types of books aim to enhance students' ability and focus on students.For the differences if them: firstly,language expression,The People's Education Press has a beautiful word,but language of the Grimm Press is more strict.Secondly,the People's Education Press emphasizes on comprehending the text,and the Grimm Press emphasizes on cultivating logical thinking models.Thirdly,the components of Reading aid system,The People's Education Press has a formal arrangement on each section and fewer illustrations,but the Grimm Press has more illustrations and structures making it more flexibility than the other one.This research chooses the similar animal units and appendixes of those two textbooks to design a contrastive study.In brief,there are four teaching implications of the The People's Education Press by a comparison in those two textbooks: the author's note exchanges from a single introduction to informative introductions,marginal notes can be changed by skimming to the whole book,illustrations will exchange from the mixture of sorts of information to the categorized ones,illustrations may change from a single one to multiplies.At the same time,senior Chinese teachers should instruct students to totally apply Reading aid system to entire text rather than the illustrations only.Besides,the teachers and students need to cooperate with each other so as to create a good Reading aid system by themselves.Education is a complex experimental process,it's uncertain that a good teaching strategy can produce effective results.And there is a key relationship of the development to the teachers who lead students to proceed interactive studies,from which encouragement and praises are both students and teachers.Based on it,the experiment get a conclusion through a comparison with researches: both groups make a great improvement on the scores of the tests.However,according to the analysis of the SPSS,there is no obvious relationship between Reading aid system and the improvement of the scores.Thus,this research proposes the following suggestions for educators: Reading aid system serves to the students but the instructions of the teachers are a necessity.Therefore,the teachers need to pay attention to Reading aid system which caninstruct students to put it into practice.Only a suitable Reading aid system can provide students with better services and materials from text-focused to students roles.
