Reading is the social behavior that lets human acquire knowledge,improves one's character and morals,edifies the mind and promotes the development of society.Primary school period is the key stage to improve students' reading ability and literacy.Currently,many reading activities in primary school cannot be conducted deeply for long.Hence,it's practical significance of studying the establishment and implementation of the reading activities in primary school.This paper uses the methods of documentation,questionnaire,interviewing and observation.From these four aspects of reading activities:educational pursuit,the main forms and content,environment and self-management mechanism,this paper aims to reflect objectively the establishment and implementation of the reading activities in these two Fuzhou primary schools A and B as well as the evaluation made by the students.It also analyzes the problems of the reading activities in the schools aforementioned and puts forward some suggestions on promoting the influence of primary school reading so as to help cultivate students' interest,habits and methods of reading and develop independent reading ability for lifelong learning.
