A Study Of Immigrated Adolescents Career Choice Based On Empowerment Theory

In the face of the career choice,immigrated adolescents are showing a low self-esteem and lack of support system for lack of career planning education and professional experience.In consequence of the actuality that domestic research about career choice is few social organizations and educators who are devoted themselves to floating youth career choice lack of reference materials.By the perspective of social work theory,the study try to do a little for youth career choice dilemma and intervention strategies in order to solve the immigrated adolescents career choice render the plight of the contribution.To study migrant children school seniors in L town who are dropped out of unemployment and employment,The study mainly use qualitative and quantitative research methods,combined with individual interviews,participatory observation and summarizing form about data analysis.The study found that adolescents are a lack of rational choice motivation,professional consciousness unclear,no career guidance and support system to be solved.Based on empowerment theory and career choice theory,the study put forward suggestions and social work intervention strategies by empowerment theory and career matching theory,Focus on case growth,Promoting confidence in teenagers,Enhance your professional interest,professional character,and professional ability.The resource link,policy advocate and so on,complement the society,the school,the family in the mobile youth professional education the absence state to help mobile teenagers make their own career choices.
