Based on the new curriculum reform in the high school,this paper aims at exploring both of the theory and practice used in art crafts lessons and analyzing the present teaching situation to put forward relevant suggestions and put approach into practice.The paper will provide feasible suggestions and reference to other teachers with some specific lessons which may encourage the diversity of the art class in the high school.And meanwhile the paper lays the foundation of setting up specialty courses in local areas and is beneficial to the inheritance of Chinese traditional handicraft.The pros and cons drawn from classes will be summarized and rethought to provide doable suggestions.The research adopts a comprehensive analysis method such as literature research method,case analysis method and questionnaire method.There are four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,in which the reasons and the basis of selected topic and research methods will be introduced.In chapter two,the necessity and the feasibility of setting up art crafts lessons in high school will be analyzed.Chapter three is bases on the principle ‘to build the bridge between teaching and learning with happiness‘ and explores courses that fit high school students.Three cases,including Pin Sui Shi Ling — Stickers,Zhi Se World — Paper-Rolling and Jin Lou Xi Jian — Paper-cut,which draw from the author's practical experience,will be analyzed.The author searches the happy teaching methods in the art crafts classes in high school to offer some references to other teachers.And aimed at how to effectively develop the art teaching,how to raise students' aesthetic quality and how to cultivate all-round students,the chapter four provides some suggestions to popularize the happy teaching method in the brand-new age.
