Supply chain management is important to PC(Personal Computer) manufacturing. In the supply chain management of M company's notebook core components, procurement management information was asymmetric, and global manual allocation was time-consuming and inaccurate. To solve these problems, procurement management process optimization and global allocation process optimization are researched. In procurement management process optimization, forecast demand algorithm is proposed, and the mapping relationship of core components and notebook motherboard is used to calculate demand forecast; ODM(Original Design Manufacturer)weekly lowest pull in model is built to manage and control core components' orders; demand and supply analysis model is built, and the purchase and supply are monitored in real time by using Instrument Board Chart, DSI(Daily Sale Inventory)Comparison Chart and Forecast Demand Comparison Chart. In global allocation process optimization, global automatic allocation model is built, and core components are allocated among notebook platforms across ODMs to save manpower and resources. Based on those models, optimized procurement management process and global allocation process are built. These models and processes are verified in M company's notebook platforms. According to the results, supply chain management processes of notebook core components are optimized.Shortage risk of core components is reduced effectively, and continuous notebook production is guaranteed. The research has practical value and can be used in related industry.
