With Chinese deeper and more extensive involvement in globalization, Chinese enterprises from all walks of life are now facing much fiercer competition. Scientific and sophisticated management is the absolute choice for Chinese enterprises to take challenges and execute strategies. As the earlier group of foreign companies pouring into Chinese market since Reform-and-Opening-Up, Company A is currently encountering intense competition. Company A's production relation is compromised by its lagging-behind management and complicated internal coordination system, although its parent company in Taiwan is well capitalized. It is super imperative that a scientific and effective Performance Management System is to be established, which could be deemed as a turning point for Company A to improve its management and enhance the organizational performance.Through the questionnaire, interviews and other methods, with a reference to research & findings by both domestic and foreign scholars, this paper discreetly illustrates the relevant theories and tools regarding performance management. Furthermore, the systematic research and main problems on Company A's performance management are also presented in this paper. Along with the basic research, a performance management program based on KPI, which falls in line with the company's strategy, is deliberately designed. In light of the nature of the performance management, the Communication, in this paper, is not slightly taken. In fact, the importance of Communication is highlighted by two elaborated case studies in the paper, which is also one of the features of this paper.This paper not only analyzes the potential risks in the process of conducting the performance management program, and offers the solutions to the relevant risks as well.
