Modal verbs has another name which is auxiliaries,that is a key point and also a difficult point during grammar learning for Chinese as second language learners.Since Mongolian and Chinese belong to different language systems they have different word order.Many problems and a large number of errors happen when the Mongolian students study Chinese modal verbs.But we find that there is little past research for Mongolian Students' Acquisition of Chinese modal verbs.This paper aims to make the Mongolian Students learn Chinese faster and better,improve teaching conditions,and improve the efficiency of Chinese teaching in Mongolia.Based on my teaching experience in Ottgentenger university and communication with Chinese learners in primary school in Mongolia I investigated many grammatical points for modal verbs and summed up problems Mongolian students often face when they are learning Chinese modal verbs.This research sums up the type of errors;explores causes of errors,and proposes corresponding teaching strategies.I hope to be able to play a modest act on second language teaching,and to make modest progress for development of Chinese international education.This paper is divided into there parts: the introduction,the main part of the article and the conclusion.The first part is an introduction.It mainly states the reason of choosing this topic,significance of the topic,the theoretical basis and research methods;The main part of the article is divided into there chapter:The first chapter is a review section.It mainly introduces primary achievements in the field of ontology research and teaching as a second language for modal verbs.By summarizing the results of previous studies,we can have a more detailed and deep understanding of modal verbs,and thus be able to provide a strong theoretical support for this article;The second chapter is questionnaire section,which is an important part of the article.By the form of a questionnaire,we can collect first-hand information.We investigate the verb acquisition situation for Mongolian students and statistical survey results partly based on the four types of errors theory in grammar,they are "wrong order","wrong substitution",“missing”,"wrong addition” first identified by Mr.Lu Jianji.The third chapter is the main part of this article.Based on the results of questionnaire statistics,we summarize four error reasons for Mongolian Students' Acquisition of modal verbs and give specific teaching suggestions for each type of bias.The last part is the conclusion of this article,It concludes the paper,summarizes the conclusions of the research,and noted that innovation and disadvantages of the paper.It aims to make advice for future researchers.
