This is a report on English to Chinese consecutive interpreting.The task described in this thesis is the Second Australian Top Secondary School Information Day on February 24 th in 2016.The author was employed by Harbin Pattison English to interpret for the school representatives from Australia.In this thesis,the author reviews the task process from the view of preparation,case study and conclusion.In the part of case study,the author mainly analyzes the problems of numeral interpretation,interpretation in professional terms and difficult words and equivalent meaning between target language and source language.Meanwhile,the author discusses the strategies and solutions to cope with these problems and provides the revision.The author hopes to develop the interpretation knowledge and skills from analyzing the interpreting process.
