Study On The Spiritual Needs And Countermeasures Of The Elderly In Guiyang City

A study on the problems and countermeasures of the urban elderly spiritual needs in GuiyangRecently,with the fast development of the urban agingdegree and reform,the elderly material life has been improved greatly and the aging population's work has also made remarkable achievements.However,the elderly spiritual lives and demand still have some problems and deficiencies,the urban elderlyspiritual need is also more diverse,their new situation and problemsfaces many new challenges.Thus,how tostrengthen and improve the urban elderly spiritual needs has becomea new subject of urban old-age workin the process of building a harmonious socialist society.Therefore,the author will study the issue as this thesis' topic.Based on the era's progress and the needs of promoting the urban elderly work,this thesis using Marxism-Leninism.Mao Zedong Thought and the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics will conduct a more comprehensive analysis and study on urban elderly spiritual demands' connotation,characteristics,contents andtheory;situation and problems of the elderly spiritual demands in Guiyang;countermeasures to satisfy urban elderly spiritual needs.This paper mainly consists of four parts.Part one: Introduction.it also discusses the purpose,significance and the literature review at home and abroadof urban elderly spiritual demands.Part two: the elderly spiritual demands' connotation,characteristics,contents andtheory.This part firstly introduces the connotation of spiritual demands,and at the same timeexpounds the characteristics and contents of the urban elderly spiritual needs;secondly it discusses the theory of urban elderly spiritualneeds.Part three: situation and problems of the elderly spiritual demands in Guiyang.This part mainly discusses the basic situation of old peopleinvestigated in Guiyang,surveys and analyzes the present status of urbanelderly spiritual demands in Guiyang and explores the problems and causes of urban elderly spiritual demands in Guiyang.Part four: countermeasures and suggestions to satisfy theurban elderly spiritual needs.According to the current problems and reasons of the elderlyspiritual needs in Guiyang,this part puts forwardthethinkingandtentative ideasof solving elderly spiritual needs' problems in Guiyang from the aspects of government,community,elderly family and the elderly themselves.
