As the primary link of the civil service system,civil service examination recruitment system is of great significance to the selection of talents for civil service personnel.Due to the late start of the civil service system in C hina,although there is a certain degree of development,there are still some problems that cannot be ignored that need to be resolved.The United K ingdom was the first country to establish a civil service examination recruitment system.As the forerunner of reform accumulated rich experience in practice,and it has continued to be reformed and improved.It has a certain reference for the civil service examination system in C hina.The British civil service examination recruitment system upholds the principle of fairness,fairness and openness from the beginning.The traditional civil servants who value generalists gradually develop their abilities to generalists,embodying the rationality of their development.Starting from historical facts,this article sorts out the reform and development of the English civil service examination recruitment system,introduces the currently operating system of the British civil service examinations,summarizes the evolutionary rules of the content of the British civil service examination recruitment system,and evaluates its content.Finally,taking C hina's basic national conditions as the starting point,it provides refere nce suggestions for the reform of China's civil service examination and recruitment system,so as to achieve the purpose of “selecting people and selecting talents”.
