A Study On Public Opinion Guidance For Public Emergencies In The Border Areas Of Yunnan

Public opinion has always been an important force affecting social development.To do a good job of press and public opinion of the Communist Party of China,is crucial essence concerning the future direction of our country;the implementation of the Party's theory,route,guideline and policy;the smooth progress of the party and national undertakings;the cohesive and centripetal force among the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups;the future destiny of the Party and our country..Based on the perspective of public opinion guidance,this paper,through specific cases,discussing and analyzing the methods of public opinion guidance when the government department of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture dealing with public emergencies,tried to explore and summarize some effective countermeasures and suggestions in border area of Yunnan province.The paper is divided into 4 parts,the introduction part provides a general overview of the background,significance of the topic and the research methods,etc.The first chapter introduces the relevant concepts of public emergencies and public opinion guidance respectively.The second chapter discusses the necessity of guiding public opinion in public emergencies in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture,and introduces the public opinion guidance mechanism of Xishuangbanna.The third chapter analyzes the main methods and problems of Xishuangbanna government in dealing with public emergencies by discussing two specific cases: Collective Diarrhea Events of the Minority Middle School in Xishuangbanna and 10·5 Case on the Mekong River.The fourth chapter proposes suggestions to public opinion guidance in public emergencies in border areas of Yunnan province.This article embarks from the perspective of practical operation,by studying real-life cases,to analyze successful experience and main approaches of public opinion guidance in dealing with public emergencies and find main problems,tries to establish a mechanism frame of leading public opinion in public emergency events for local government in border area.Meanwhile,the article puts forward 6 principles and 4 countermeasures about public opinion guidance of public emergencies in border area of Yunnan province based on practical work experience,which are very operational and have high reference value.In addition,according to the general problems of public opinion guidance in border area of Yunnan province,the article suggest that we can further improve the public opinion guidance mechanism for public emergencies by defining the main responsible body,enhancing the the government's credibility,strengthening public opinion monitoring and early warning and conducting the government's news release work.
