Education is a fundamental way to train talented people and to promote scientific development for our country. It is also a motive power for technical progress and social development. Aiming at taking the lead in the world and catching up with those developed countries, we ought to mainly focus on the education. The 8th significant curriculum reform and some huge changes in course structure as well as course contents and education evaluations are happened in the early 20 th century, drawing a lot of attentions. The curriculum reform is finally conducted by teachers whose main job is teaching. Teachers are the key factors vital to the success of the implementation of the curriculum reform. Thus paying attention to the identity of teachers and investigating the factors affecting their identities is very significant.Base on the study of Li Zijian and Yin Hongbiao, etc, and the practical situation of the curriculum reform implantation in Shandong province, this thesis focuses on a research of biology teacher from middle schools in Weifang, Jining, Laiwu and so on in Shandong province from seven different dimensions such as attitude towards the reform and their behaviors. And then based on this research, the author interviewed different biology teachers and attempted to study their identifications for the curriculum reform of middle school biology teachers in Shandong and the main influential reasons of their attitudes and meanwhile give relevant advices for strengthening their identifications, which will give huge support to the biology curriculum reform implementation.The conclusions are as follows:1. Most educators not only accept the schedule of the curriculum reform but also enthusiastically implement the schedule during their teaching.2. Biology teachers in middle schools have high professional dedications and at the same time they keep high enthusiasm about the reform.3. The new course could promote the learning skills and creative spirit of students. An obvious change after the reform is an emphasis on the students' self-directed learning, the spirit of corporation and innovation and their subjectivities in their studying, which has brought a big improvement of students' passions of learning and their comprehensive abilities.4. The years of teaching and titles are the key elements limiting the attitudestowards the curriculum reform.On the whole the attitude is in an inverse proportion to the teaching years of most biology teachers. And about the title, teachers with relative low title have greater passion for the reform while teachers with high titles are relatively conservative.5. Teachers of rural areas shows higher identification than those of urban areas, showing teachers in rural areas are more voluntarily to implement the curriculum reform.6. Improving teacher evaluation way support, attaching great importance to the new curriculum, strengthening the campus social publicity measures will effectively promote teachers' identity.
