| This study adopts comparative analysis, questionnaire analysis and interview, aiming to summarize the structure feature of the course of full-time education master, to find the postgraduates’ learning needs and the society’s demand for pre-service teachers. According to these analyses, the author tries to find out some problems of curriculum provision, and then puts forward corresponding suggestions and provides enlightenment for the training of postgraduates.I first collected the training program of the full-time education master in five universities,and summarized their curriculum structure, and then found out the structural characteristics of full-time English curriculum of education master based on their specific courses. Then a questionnaire survey on the master of education in grade 2013 and a questionnaire survey on employers were did to find out students’ learning needs and employers’ requirements for teachers.Interviews were conducted on subjects to further understand the status of implementation of curriculum. At last, according to the curriculum structure characteristics and requirements of students and employers, the author summarized the existing problems and shortcomings in curriculum setting.Based on the above research, the author found the degree of recognition for the full-time education master is not high; the curriculum lacks practice and theory is too strong; classroom teaching method should be improved, and the teaching activity should be more flexible; teaching practice mode is single, centralized practice time is too long. At this point, and put forward the following improvement path: First, curriculum must master the outstanding education pertinence and practice. Second, strengthening the basic theory of education and teaching, improving students’ education theoretical level and the quality of teachers. Third, to expand the channels of textbook compiling, encouraging normal universities, teacher training schools and key high schools to develop materials. Fourth, increasing the proportion of practical courses, improving the teaching practice.In addition, this study also has some shortcomings: First, the subjects are restricted to five universities, thus can not fully reflect the problems in the process of training full-time Master of education personnel. Second, the text analysis is not flexible and deep enough. Third, the investigation of the current situation of master of education curriculum is weak in some degree. |
