Compulsory education of fine arts curriculum standards(2011 edition) explicitly pointed out that, in rural and remote areas of the teachers should adjust measures to local conditions, the flexibility to choose and create suitable for the local fine arts teaching methods and means of teaching conditions, efforts to improve the teaching quality. Handicraft class is to begin production and material application of comprehensive practice curriculum, in the elementary school fine arts course, handicraft class helps improve pupils' art skills and skills, improve their ability of imagination and creativity, and many other, in the elementary school fine arts education in the countryside is of very important theoretical and practical significance. How to select material based on the theme, the use of material, can see the elementary student's personality, emotion and art talents. The author has been worked nearly 8 years in Chenghou primary school,Linyi,Shandong province. After years of teaching practice and observation, notice that the pupils have a kind of spontaneous interest and enthusiasm on manual activities. Such as: simple origami, cloth art collage, soft clay and plastic, etc.The enthusiasm and interest are closely related to personality characteristics of children, curious about psychology and seeking knowledge desire. Based on such good foundation,carrying out the art handicraft class is the best choice for rural art teaching.But the fact is rural primary school art handicraft class research is relatively weak. In practical teaching activities pay little attention to Manual activity. Most of teaching class mainly teach students to draw.The value of construction is not profound understanding.Coused the construction materials on the development and utilization of disappointing. Reason mainly displays in: the limit of rural primary school of fine arts teaching content and shortage of full-time teachers of fine arts, inadequate understanding, the weak of construction materials based on the rural students' training target of school-based curriculum development.Because of this, the author according to some specific problems of the rural elementary school fine arts construction, combining with teaching practice, on the basis of education teaching theory, combined with the literature method, interview method, questionnaire method research methods to explore suitable for the actual status of the rural education of fine arts handicraft class teaching content, especially based on rural unique resource conditions, creative application and development of construction materials, so that the students in the life experience of familiar to deepen the love for the art handicraft class, so as to better embody the meaning of handicraft class in training students' elementary school fine arts accomplishment, for the rural elementary school art handicraft class teaching to provide theoretical support and practical reference.This paper is divided into four chapters. The first chapter :To define the the fine arts curriculum and materials.The second chapter : Introduces the status in the structure of curriculum and teaching requirements in the elementary school fine arts handicraft class. and on construction of the school area,surveyed the development of the handicraft class and material application,carried scientific analysis. The third chapter :expounded the necessity of construction materials expanding and the principles should follow in rural elementary school.and practicing from the method of the the material using. Putting forward the teaching measures for material expanding and the corresponding solutions.The fourth chapter :Conclusion.
