The core idea of multiple intelligences theory advocates Gardiner's philosophy of education and the new curriculum is very consistent,in the new curriculum reform of junior middle school physics,we can learn from the theory of multiple intelligences and constantly improve the teaching effect.This study is based on multiple intelligences theory as the guide,in the investigation of the multiple intelligences structure of junior high school students and analyze the theory and basis of its connotation,the concept of teaching conducted a preliminary exploration on the theory and practice of using a part of multiple intelligences theory to guide the practice of Physics Teaching in junior middle school.This paper is divided into the following four parts:The first part is the theoretical basis of this study.Gardiner describes the multiple intelligences of the background,basis,eight intelligences content and main points,and based on the analysis of the relationship between the theory of multiple intelligences and the junior middle school physics concept teaching and its significance on the concept of teaching.The second part is the investigation of the current situation of the junior high school students' multiple intelligences structure.In the form of a questionnaire survey of intelligences structure and the distribution of some junior middle school students in Shanghai area were investigated,and the results were analyzed and the difference of the overall analysis,obtained the following conclusions: the overall analysis,all the students have eight kinds of intelligences,the vast majority of students' intelligences test score in the middle part.In addition to the extremely individual;the difference between men and women,girls better than boys in logical mathematical intelligence,musical intelligence and language girls better than boys,there was no significant difference in the rest of the intelligences.Compared with the differences of different schools,private junior high school is superior to the individual public junior high school in the aspects of mathematical logic and language intelligence,and there is no significant difference in the other intelligences.The third part is about the strategy and mode of Physics Teaching under the guidance of the theory of multiple intelligences.Intelligences structure and distribution characteristics of junior high school students based on the combination of education status of the region,the spatial intelligence,naturalist intelligence andbodily kinesthetic intelligence as a starting point,put forward the image presentation strategy,strategy,strategy of students' experimental observation and scientific inquiry four strategies,and on the basis of the two kinds of commonly used teaching model of for example,construction and so on.The fourth part is the research of teaching practice.Based on the theory of multiple intelligences,and combined with the actual situation of teaching,teaching practice in a middle school.The results show that the theory of multiple intelligences can be used to guide the teaching of physics concepts in junior high school.Study on the innovations in three kinds of intelligences are closely related to the physical course of study as a starting point,combined with junior high school students' intelligences structure and characteristics of physical and mental development,suitable for the development of their teaching strategies,and the teaching mode.First,the spatial intelligence,naturalist intelligence and bodily—kinesthetic intelligence as the starting point of the concept of teaching practice;Secondly,in the view of a specific period of less-junior middle school;third,with the operability,this way to ensure the diversity of teaching,but also to optimize the concept of physics teaching junior high school.
