Since the reform of basic education curriculum, teachers pay more and more attention to cultivate students' subjectivity and learning interest in the ideological and moral teaching process, in the past, teachers focus more on knowledge memorizing and inculcation, while now, we emphasis more on students' learning process and practical experience. Gradually, the key point of in the ideological and moral teaching process art of teaching, there are still problems such as it emphasis more on theory and less on practice, the lack of emotional experience and ability test,etc.Students in junior high school are in a very time to improve all aspects of abilities, the importance of practical work in ideological and moral lessons has draw widespread attention. This make it very necessary to do some studies on practical work of ideological and moral lessons in junior high school.This paper is based on the new curriculum concept and a new high school Chinese textbook version of the PEP , and the study methods of this paper are literature research and empirical study. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter reviews the current situation of research at home and abroad, and defines the concept of practical work. In the second chapter, the author analyzes the meaning of practical work and advocating for more attention on it. In the third chapter, the author analyzes the present situation of the practical work of the ideological and moral character. The fourth chapter explores the design of the practical work, and tries to think more about the practical work from all perspects. In the fifth chapter,there explaining a more systematic discussion on implement of practical work.
