The professional development of "double qualification" teachers plays an important role in construction of teaching staff,improvement of the quality of school education and improvement of students' knowledge and skills.Based on interpretation of connotation of "double qualification" teachers and their professional development,through interviews,literature research and case studies,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the plight of the professional development of "double qualification" teachers in secondary vocational schools,and finds out the existing problems: weak professional development consciousness;poor professional development ability;not well balanced structure of professional knowledge and ability;narrow path of the professional development;not sound guarantee mechanism for the professional development.With regards to reasons leading to the problems,such as the teachers themselves,society and secondary vocational schools,this paper attempts to take relevant measures to improve the professional development of "double qualification" teachers of secondary vocational schools from the following four aspects: strengthening the self management and forming the inner motive of the professional development;creating cultural atmosphere and excavating the potential;optimizing the training mode and speeding up summarizing experience;perfecting the guarantee mechanism and exploring the innovative thinking;building a learning community for the teachers and promoting new ways for the professional development of them.
