The new reform in mathematics course and education put great emphasis on that students should go on observing, experimenting, conjecturing, vivificating, deducing and communicating actively. They also propose that learning process of mathematics should be one in which students can inquire independently. So how to foster students' mathematics inquiring ability has been concerned to a big extent.This thesis aims at preliminary researching how to foster students' mathematics inquiring ability. In terms of the weakness of the relevant researches and problems, the author is thinking of the problems for further studying. First, the thesis analyzes the theoretical foundation and realistic meaning of fostering students' inquiring mathematics ability. And it explains the necessity and importance of fostering students' inquiring mathematics ability. Secondly, through the author' s teaching practice and experience , this article has proposed several teaching principles which are helpful to mathematics teachers while implementing the classroom instruction specifically. To foster students' inquiring mathematics ability, we need understand in depth and analyze specified conditions. In this way could we put forward some effective teaching countermeasures. So this article does preliminary research in how to foster the students' inquiry mathematics ability in classroom. The author proposes several teaching countermeasure and teachers' instruct strategies. Finally, the author gave a model mathematics class through teaching practical operation to Junior One student.
