Corporate culture is the important strategic resources of enterprise for survival and development. As an important content of modern corporate management, the construction of the corporate culture help to improve corporate core competence, so as to promote the corporate's operating performance. However, the present private corporate has wrong understanding of the corporate culture and the core competence. On the other hand, compared to the state-owned corporate, the private corporate has more clear property rights and greater autonomy. So it is of great importance and practicalness in the development of private corporate to study what ways and mechanisms are used by corporate culture and core competence to mutually contact and play roles. Also how to construct the private corporate culture based on core competence.This article concludes from the theoretical studies results of domestic and foreign scholars on corporate culture and core competence, and define the connotation of the two, then analyze the relationship between them base on the perspective of theory and interaction effect analysis of them, and put forward the construction thoughts of private corporate culture to enhance the core competence. At the end, as an empirical case, this article strives to refine the practicalness of the construction of the corporate culture of SKSHU, and provide a reference for the private corporate culture construction. The full text is composed of five parts, the first part to propose the question based on theory and practice background, clears thesis objective on its studies and design research ideas. The second part to introduce the relative theories about the private corporate and its culture, and its core competence of this article, firstly point out the private corporate is the one opposite to stated corporate, secondly use the smaller definition of corporate culture and divide it into four levels: the basic assumptions, the espoused value, the artifacts and the social relations, lastly have a conclusion that the core competence is a system of dynamic capability compose of operational integration ability, coordinating ability, innovation ability and control ability on the basis of the theory of “K” model. The third part firstly to analyze the present situation and problems on construction of corporate culture on those four levels, then analyze the relations between corporate culture and core competence from their function and interaction, sum up the construction of ideas based on core competence, which is the construction of four aspects to improve the private corporate's core competence. The fourth part carries out case anatomy to SKS's corporate culture building practice and core competence performance according to thesis framework based on SKS corporate's management practices, and carries out practice test to theoretical viewpoint proposed in Part Three. The fifth part is the conclusion of full text, summarizes basic ideas and conclusions of this paper, and points out the direction need to continue thinking.
