In the past ten years,with the rapid development of chip manufacturing technology,the mobile phone also be quickly changed from functional to intelligent,from small screen size to large screen size change,from the original voice calls to today’s high-definition video calls change.These huge changes are due to the increasing spiritual and cultural needs of consumers,but also due to the development of national information industry requirements,both have external and internal reasons.However,rapid changes of the industry engaged in mobile phone industry companies are faced with "survival of the fittest,otherwise eliminated".Especially for the most of the domestic small mobile phone design companies face the risk may be far greater than the opportunity.In order to adapt to this kind of high strength,high competitive industry risk,at the same time in order to better serve our customers,we must according to the characteristics of our industry "an antidote against the disease",we should actively change ideas,expand ideas,make every effort to timely,quality and quantity to complete the delivery of the final product.This is our mission and also the expectations that our company gives us.However,due to the development of mobile ODM industry has been more than 10 years of time.Its technology and market access threshold is also getting lower and lower,coupled with market regulation is not perfect,the strength of the company engaged in the design of mobile phone programs tend to be very different.Some of the company’s R & D and production have thousands of people of the scale,and some may only have more than 10 people’s development team.The external supervision of the mobile phone industry is not standardized,as well as the difference in the level of R & D project management has lead to the following results.The tendency of competition among enterprises is malignant,the products produced are not safe,after sales and customer complaints ratio is high,these problems are seriously restricting the sustainable development of the mobile phone industry.This article first began to talk from the domestic and foreign mobile phone industry status and development trend,combined with the actual situation of SR company’s R & D strength as well as the characteristics of the mobile phone project management,development tools and NPI development process,and then combining theory with practice,this paper discusses a series of exploration and practical application of SR in the process of improving TTM.,such as the optimal allocation of human resources,the optimization of FMEA project management in SR,the application of agile management and so on.All the optimization and exploration of the common goal is only one: express to enhance our TTM(Time To Market).We also hope that through some case studies on the project management work of mobile phone development of SR company,the other has been engaged in or to companies or individuals engaged in mobile phone industry will be able to have a good sense of TTM,in the delivery of the products on time also to be able to achieve the quality and quantity,the healthy development of our entire mobile phone industry is very important.
