Research On Tianjin Port Group's Development Strategy Of Oil Logistics

As the most prominent comprehensive transportation junction in scale and function,port plays an important role in national economy. In the 21st century, building professional deep-water oil berth has increasingly become the priority of urban development for major coastal port cities. Tianjin Port is situated in the Bohai Economic Rim, which is the capital's gateway to the sea, and committed to constructing the largest comprehensive port in Northern China. After more than 20 years' development, Tianjin Port has formed fully matured petrochemical area, and become pivotal petrochemical product storage, transportation and distribution base of Northern China.This thesis mainly does the research on Tianjin Port Group's development strategy of oil logistics. Firstly, through the study of the relevant literature, information methods,the world economy and the oil industry, the domestic economy and energy status,domestic and international port development trends, domestic port oil transport status and main competitors and other aspects of the conditions were elaborated,detailed analysis the external environment of Tianjin Port oil logistics. In the second part, based on the summary and analysis of Tianjin Port Group's current oil logistics condition,including background information of Tianjin Port, natural condition, hinterland economy and oil logistics facilities, this thesis will build up a gray prediction model and predict oil throughput of Tianjin Port Group. Finally,applying SWOT matrix analysis,it will determine the strategic goal and plan, and demonstrate the specific measures.At the global level, Asian economy and trade is significantly active, therefore, the center of port development gradually shifts to Asia. Effecting by the domestic policies such as the Belt and Road and Integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regions at the same time, Tianjin Port will face more international opportunities and challenges. In this context, this thesis to Tianjin Port oil logistics as a research object, the analysis method used and the final conclusion has some practical significance.
