With the global evolution of industry 4.0,Foxconn,the market leader of the manufacturing industry in the world,is proactively developing intelligent manufacturing technology on trends.It demands of higher requirements on the human resource management of automatic R&D engineer in the aspects of intelligent manufacturing core talents.The accurate assessment of talent is the basis of talent management activities,to achieve the goal of person-post matching and maximize the talent's effectiveness,it is required to identify the talents in a correct way.In terms of talent assessment,currently Foxconn group mainly focuses on the evaluation of knowledge,capability and performance,which is unable to adapt to the management requirements for knowledge staffs under the background of transformation and upgrading,as a result,it is required to develop talent assessment scheme regarding to technical positions and related staffs of automatic R&D position.This paper aims at the research and development of automatic R & D engineers,which is to explore,research and design talent assessment scheme base on the competence theory.This paper is divided to six chapters,Chapter one is a brief description of research background and significance,introducing the research topic and the main content of this paper,which puts forward thesis research methods and technical routes.With the combination of thesis research topic,Chapter two focuses on the introduction of talent assessment base on the theories of competency model and talent assessment of competency.Chapter three focuses on the investigation and description of the assessment situations for R&D engineer talent assessment,which puts forward the major problems existed on talent evaluation.Based on current situations of investigation,Chapter four uses the method of text analysis,questionnaire investigation,behavioral event interview,subject analysis,expert team to establish the characteristics of automatic engineer competence,providing talent evaluation standard for talent assessment.Following the fifth chapter,it is targeted to design and develop the talent assessment scheme by using the method of Delphi,record analysis,questionnaire investigation,psychological questionnaire,interview,etc after establishing the evaluation standard.Finally,Chapter six summarizes the conclusion and expectations of the talent assessment scheme.Through the research of talent assessment with the sampling of Foxconn group's automatic R&D engineers,this paper designs a set of evaluation scheme adapting to the group automatic R&D engineer with excellent practical value,including the establishment of evaluation organization,weight of design evaluation index,selected evaluation method,evaluation process of optimization,organization of planning and assessment and so on.The research result will enhance the efficiency of talent assessment and performance of R&D engineer effectively,as well as improving the scientific and standardized level of talent assessment in Foxconn group.Foxconn is the representative enterprise in the field of industrial manufacturing,and the research result of this paper could be used as a reference for academic research of the industry that is looking to energetically develop technical talents.
