| Pingguo county is a typical mountain area in Guangxi province.By the statistics of the second rock desertification monitoring results in guangxi 2011,the existing karst area of pingguo county is 156686.2 ha,accounting for 63.03%of the total area of the county and the area of rocky desertification is 64575.2 ha,accounting for 41.2%of karst area.With the reasons of that,the people's life and industrial production in Pingguo county are restricted in different levels.Also,the local economic backward problem is apperantly.The pitaya cultivation is helpful for the treatment of rocky desertification and the development of regional economy because the pitaya are adapting the barren land,growing easily,protecting water conservation,keeping well soil and water.With the outstanding benefits,The pitaya were wildly planted in Pingguo county.In 2003,60 acres pitaya which began to be planted in longhe,buyao,where is karst stone mountain village achieved significant results.With this sample effect,the pitaya cultivation in Pingguo county is rapidly developing,spreading to twelve towns of Pingguo county in 2011.At present,pitaya as the characteristics fruits in Pingguo county were planted in the largest area.Nowadays,Pingguo county has a total area of pitaya cultivation 52,000 mu,with an annual output of 40,000 tons and an output value of nearly 300 million yuan.The area of the rocky desertification area is 19600 mu,accounting for 38%of the total area of the county.Pitaya industry has become the leading industry of poverty alleviation in the mountainous area,and has achieved good economic,ecological and social benefits.combining with it's natural resources,Pingguo county fosters a new type of modern agriculture industrial.By means of introducing lead enterprises,vigorously promoting the new mode "company + base + party branch + cooperative + peasant household",establishing professional cooperatives,developing family farm mode,creating a national nomal area of desertification pitaya planting,creating core red fruit base in regional poverty mountainous,building fruit town,"ten mile pitaya corridor",Taiping,"ten thousand mu of pitaya base",creating characteristic ecological agriculture sightseeing belt,etc.,Pingguo county achieve the sustainable development in characteristic agriculture industrial.This paper adopted the literature analysis,local investigation,experience summary and other research methods to research;used the Internet,news and college journal net to collect the relevant background informations.In addition,with the help of some software tools,the author of this paper presents the situation of pitaya fruits industry development in pingguo county,the results are as follows:The main problems affecting the development of the pitaya fruit industry in pingguo county are the following factors:lack of knowledge and the enthusiasm;small scale cultivation and weak competitiveness;limited capital investment and lack of technical equipment;Lack of technology investment and outdated cultivate technique;antiquated marketing business method and shortage in commodity packaging technology.combitting Pinguo county modern agriculture experience,and successful case of pitaya fruit industry,the author of this paper presents the opinions,which can accelerate the stops of pingguo pitaya industry development in rocky desertificcation area and pull the local people out of poverty.such as raising the awareness of the masses and actively putting into production;Changing the industrial development model and improving the added value of products;Developing modern characteristic agriculture,combine with industrial poverty alleviation;Strengthen the circulation service and promote the smooth sales channel;Cultivating and developing independent brand,enhance brand awareness of pitaya. |
