Performance appraisal is an effective means and key basis for the management and development of human resources in modern enterprises,and has been applied in foreign commercial banks.Our state-owned commercial banks have successfully completed the shareholding reform,has just started in the operating mode of modern banks,most banks still affected by the traditional way of performance appraisal evaluation system of state-owned enterprises,lack of objective standard,the standardization and institutionalization is not doing enough.With the development of economic globalization,the competition of financial institutions is becoming more and more fierce in the financial market.The relatively closed enterprise management mechanism and operation mechanism of China's commercial banks have been greatly impacted.From the academic domain can be clearly seen that the research on commercial bank management and the performance appraisal of the scholars and works more and more,but the study on the fine aspects need further research,for example,specifically for the state-owned commercial bank business department performance appraisal can learn very much.This paper takes A bank as an example to study the performance appraisal of state-owned commercial banks.In the performance evaluation,the A bank has made certain achievements,but there are still many problems,compared with the advanced commercial banks still have a large gap,the development of A bank's urgent need to re construct the performance evaluation system more scientific and reasonable,more humane and more strategic significance.This paper first summarizes the relevant domestic and foreign performance appraisal theory in terms of the material,find out its modern development experience;followed by A bank as an example,analyze the operating status and performance appraisal system,and the business sector performance appraisal objectives,principles,focus on the analysis of key indicators,and establish a scientific and systematic structure the performance evaluation system and performance evaluation,establish the model of each evaluation index proportion and classification;narrative embodiment of the performance appraisal finally put forward again;have focused on performance appraisal points of operation department.This paper makes a survey on the A bank management status,management performance appraisal and the performance appraisal program,analyzes the shortcomings of traditional performance appraisal scheme and working practice,finally put forward the corresponding proposal the bank's own development,so as to provide useful help to the long-term development of A bank.
