Global competition is becoming more and more severe,so is the economic situation of the world.To occupy one advantageous market position,the competition among the companies has varied time to time,including the products and services they provide.Most of the companies are uplifting their own competitive capability and maintain a specific industry label through both internal or external optimization and improvement.Each company is deploying multiple kinds of optimized solutions and putting into real practice to improve the efficiency of operation and management,as well as reduce the operation cost for more profit gains.As the representative of PC Industry,Company I is obviously encountering the downtrend situation of Manufacturing Industry,as well as the financial loss.Company I has realized the ways to reduce the manufacturing cost,operating cost and sales cost through internal optimization strategies.As one of the core modules in Manufacturing Industry,Procurement Management is very key.How to improve the strategies of Procurement Management? This is an important topic that Company I should consider through.This paper is mainly focusing on the Company I and its procurement management in whole supply chain management progress,including the product price,quantity,quality and hand-over time,to optimize Company I's operating process and improve the efficiency of procurement management for cost saving.In that way,it will help decrease the total cost ratio of procurement management in the total manufacturing cost and increase the company's categorical competitive power,which will secure its market position of certain industry under current severe global competition and economic situation.This paper's key points and conclusions can be applied to other foreign companies in same industry on their procurement management and Vendor Managed Inventory on certain levels.
