Global Geopark Tourism Development Research Of Zhangjiajie

Geopark is a natural park with natural and cultural landscape which is based on its geological scientific significance,exotic beauty and unique geological landscape,and the global Geopark is a unique and high-quality natural area made up of its large-scale geological heritage landscape distribution,special geological scientific significance,rare natural quality,high aesthetic value,and other natural landscape and fusion cultural landscape.It is not only to provide people with a higher grade science tourism,leisure,health care,culture and entertainment,but also geological heritage landscape and ecological environment,scientific research and popularization of geological knowledge base.Development of the global Geopark tourism has important value and significance.The global Geopark has become an important growth point of the tourism development.This paper takes the Global Geopark of Zhangjiajie as the research area,takes the tourism life cycle theory,the sustainable development theory,the geographical location theory and the tourism geology theory,and draws lessons from the previous research results and the field investigation and Based on the data collected,the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the Global Geopark of Zhangjiajie development status,clear the park is currently in the development stage and its problems,and put forward the corresponding development strategies and recommendations.This paper first defines the definition of geological park and global geological park,as well as the principle of development and utilization,and the paper analyzes the successful case of geological park at home and abroad.Secondly,the paper evaluates the existing tourism resources in Zhangjiajie global geological park by the analysis of the unique landscape,humanistic tourism resources and aesthetic value of Zhangjiajie global geological park.Using the life cycle theory of tourism destination and the tourist market analysis method,combined with the statistical yearbook of Zhangjiajie from 1982 to 2016 this paper studies the development stage and the tourist market of Zhangjiajie global geological park.The study found that the life cycle of Zhangjiajie global geological park is at stagnation stage,the tourist market is relatively single,as the majority are domestic tourists,and most of the foreign tourists are Koreans.For the annual tourist amount of scenic spots,combined with the measurement of environmental capacity,we find that the " overloading" phenomenon has been emerged,which will be a burden on the ecological environment of scenic spots.According to the above results,using SWOT analysis,we find the problems,opportunities and challenges of the development of Zhangjiajie global geological park scenic spot.Through the excavation of the resources development potential and new tourism demand of Zhangjiajie global geological park,the countermeasures and suggestions of the development of Zhangjiajie global geological park are proposed,in order to help it to get scientific protection and reasonable utilization,thus the aim of stable development can be reached.
