Research On The Development Strategy Of Cross-border E-commerce Logistics Operation Mode In China

In recent years,with the development of economic globalization and information globalization,cross-border e-commerce,as a new form of trade,has fastened its step of development.Various favorable policies have been launched to procure the development of cross-border e-commerce.Logistics,however,acting as a bridge connecting sellers and buyers,have become a significant factor limiting the high-speed development of cross-border e-commerce in our nation at this stage.The development of our cross-border logistics is far below that of the developed countries,which mainly because of the high costs,long transportation time,rudimentary facilities and low proficiency in operation and so forth.Under the situation,it is important to promote our cross-border e-commerce by creating new logistics patterns to make the domestic cross-border e-commerce logistics proficient and scientific.Based on studies made by domestic and foreign specialist and scholars on the characteristics of cross-border e-commerce and its logistic mode,this paper introduces the development situations of cross-border e-commerce and its logistics,points out the problems existing in the development of cross-border e-commerce logistics in China,and expounds the reasons for the existing problems.Besides,this paper classifies and concludes the mainstream modes of cross-border e-commerce logistics,and make comparison on several types of logistic modes.By analyzing the logistic modes of three famous e-commerce enterprises,namely Amazon and AliExpress,it illustrates the enlightenment deriving from those logistic modes of leading enterprises.This paper studies and illustrates the issues and reasons existing in cross-border e-commerce logistics of our nation.Last but not least,aiming at aforesaid reasons,this paper proposes suggestion for the development of cross-border e-commerce logistics of our nation.This paper intends to focus on the development of cross-border e-commerce logistics under new situation with the time background of “internet+ foreign trade”.Discovering problems at the beginning and then analyzing reasons for such problems and corresponding suggestion is proposed with an aim to solve logistic problems so as to procure a healthier and faster development of our cross-border e-commerce.
